An exhibition of Paintings and limited edition prints by artist SHANE McCOUBREY, Star of TV's "Relocation, Relocation".
Shane will be in the gallery with his work between 10am & 4pm.

Watercolour Painting Pure and Simple
with Joe Francis Dowden
We are pleased to be welcoming Joe back again to demonstrate his inspiring watercolour paintings of landscapes and coastal scenes. Joe loves painting water and his pictures are full of texture and detail.
Joe exhibits extensively and has sold out at numerous one man shows as well as publishing many books on watercolour painting.

Jane will be demonstrating from the new book ‘Love and Roses’
Painting Sea and Sky in oils workshops with Roy Lang
At the Westgate Pavillion
Roy will show you how to capture the power and majesty of the sea. Learn how the sea and sky interact in nature and how to portray their moods.
Thursday 19th June - Sunset Seascape ‘Time to Reflect’ £40 for day
The colours in this painting convey a feeling of relaxation and contemplation at the end of the day focusing on waves, breakers, foam
patterns, wet rocks and sand.
Friday 20th June - ‘Storm Surge’ £40 for day
A rough sea covering breakers, foam bursts, rock spills and use of light, shadow and composition.
Some experience in oils is required. All use of materials are included on the day but please bring your own brushes.

Painting Sea and Sky in Oils with Roy Lang
Demo and exhibition 10am - 4pm
For those unable to attend the workshops you can see Roy demonstrating from his book and see him creating his powerful seascapes.
We will also be exhibiting Roy’s stunning original paintings in the Gallery.

Quick and Clever Acrylics and Artisan water mixable oils with Michael Sanders
Michael will be demonstrating effective quick Acrylic paintings from his new book in the morning. In the afternoon Michael will be demonstrating the versatility of Artisan water mixable oils while having all the advantages of traditional oils.

Watercolour Flower Portraits workshop with Billy Showell.
10am-4pm £40
At the St Peters memorial hall, High Street, St Peters, Broadstairs.
We are delighted to welcome Billy back following her popular workshop last year. Billy paints exquisite flowers in watercolour and in this workshop Billy will guide you on all drawing and painting techniques, colour mixing and composition to complete your painting. Billy’s expert tuition is inspirational for anyone who wants to develop their flower painting skills whether or not they have any previous experience.

Watersoluble pencils and other Aquarelle media
with Fiona Peart. FREE DEMO 10am-4pm
Fiona will be demonstrating how effective watersoluble pencils are particularly using Derwents ’Inktense’ pencils. These pure, vibrant colour pencils combine the intensity of a pen and ink with the versatility of line and wash. Use dry to create strong, vivid tones then apply a light water wash to achieve a translucent, ink-like effect. The possibilities are endless, the results are stunning!

A days watercolour workshop at the picturesque venue of Salmestone Grange Margate with renowned artist, author and expert tutor
TERRY HARRISON.
Terry will take you out painting in the beautiful grounds and the cloisters (weather permitting) and provide you with lots of inspiration to show you how relaxing and how much fun painting can be!
He will guide you through your painting with plenty of practical tips to take the mystery out of watercolour painting and allowing you to provide impressive results much sooner than you might expect!
The day is suitable for beginners or those wanting to learn new skills.
With a ploughmans lunch and strawberries and cream it is sure to be un unforgettable day.
All brushes are provided but you will need to bring your watercolour paints and a block of paper. (ask for more details).

Judy will be making some great fun fairies from Fimo, beads/wire including her ‘mad fairies’ to hang and fairy cards using metal embossing, glass painting and stamping. Come along for inspirational ideas that make great Christmas gifts too!
