Lovelys years of experience provide our customers with helpful expert advice and guidance to ensure the maximum beauty is brought to life in the framing of any image.

Lovelys have specialized in the expert conservation of oils and works of art on paper for over 100 years. In our fully equipped restoration studio, we can put the sparkle back into any oil, watercolour or old print.

In the case of works on paper, the most common problem is the appearance of foxing (brown spots) which can be remedied effectively. Old oil paintings often have have varnish that has become discoloured.

After careful removal and any cleaning that is required, the painting will be restored to its original colours. We can also restore oil paintings that have been damaged, in the case of tears in the canvas.
