>> Kate Wyatt

Kate Wyatt was brought up in Somerset and Dorset, where she developed a deep love of the countryside, and particularly the wild animals which inhabit the land - badgers, hares and other native species.
Kate is best known for her unique portrayal of these wild creatures. Each painting begins with numerous preparatory sketches, from which Kate develops a line drawing and gradually builds up colour and texture using mixed media to reflect each animal's environment.
Wyatt studied at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art. Kate has had numerous exhibitions throughout the South West of England and in London, and has undertaken several commissions for the United States of America, Canada and Australia.
