Born in Ireland in 1968, Sheila was educated at the Limerick
School of Art and Design. Having gained a Distinction in her
BA Honours Degree in Fine Art she went on to gain her Masters
at the University of Wales Institute in 1993.
Sheila has exhibited her work in Dublin, Limerick, Cork and
Galway, in Ireland. Following a move to Wales she has shown
her work in Cardiff and finally arrived in Brighton where
she took up a teaching career. While based in Brighton she
was invited to show her work in the Markovitch Gallery in
London.
Currently Sheila has furthered her teaching career as head
of Art of a Secondary school in Canterbury and has made her
home in Whitstable. Living by the sea and surrounded by lovely
countryside has inspired her current painting , exhibited
exclusively at the Terence Macklin Gallery.
